- Listing job openings with the appropriate state Employment Service Delivery System (ESDS)
- Demonstrating effective outreach and recruitment efforts in attracting and placing protected veterans.
- Establishing a hiring benchmark
- Developing an EEO policy, along with training, communication, record keeping and progress reporting
